Don’t miss out on our wildly popular Ghost Walks, held this year on Oct. 23 & 24 at 6:00, 6:30, and 7:00 PM. The one-hour tours begin in “Old Brick” at 103 E. Main Street where a crackling fire welcomes guests and refreshments will be served. From there, groups will be led past some of the most haunted houses on Main Street with historic commentary provided along the route, followed by a visit to the historic Stanton House. Then it’s into the darkened graveyard, lit only by a few candles and the moon, where the ghosts of Clinton’s past await you.
Rain Date: October 25.
This popular event sells out quickly as space is limited. Tickets are $13 per person. Reservations are required and can only be made by sending an email to CHSOldBrick@gmail.com. Please give us your name, phone number, the date and time of the tour you want to reserve, and the number of tickets you need. PLEASE BE PATIENT — you will receive a return confirmation by email eventually. Payment is by cash or check, collected at the door on the night of the event.
Comfortable shoes are recommended as the terrain in the graveyard can be uneven. Guests are encouraged to bring a flashlight. Please let us know if you need to cancel your reservation, as space sells out and we maintain a waiting list. In the event of heavy rain, the event will be postponed and rescheduled for Oct. 25. We will post a cancellation message on this website as well as on the Historical Society’s answering machine.
